Now that SB 2587 and HB 455 were automatically archived by virtue of the 12th Congress' adjournment sine die, we are back to square one.

To start the ball rolling, the UP Medicine Student Council (UP-MSC) has circulated to the proper UP authorities and people concerned their ExeCom resolution calling for and supporting the re-filing of HB 455 and SB 2587.

The UP-MSC's stand is not categorically for the passage into law of HB 455 / SB 2587. Cognizant of recent developments that consultations are being made among UP Sectors, these medical students decided to strategically begin the long and painfully slow legislative process by seeking to re-file the archived bills.

For the information of all, H.B. 1587 - UP Charter of 2004, has been filed by Rep. Eduardo C. Zialcita (1st Dist., P'que City) in the House of Representatives.
